Educator Workforce Academy

The Educator Workforce Academy (EWA) is a collaborative initiative hosted by SAWDC AlabamaWorks. EWA was developed to encourage relationships between education and industry leaders. The program is designed to compel educators to evaluate their current programs (specifically CTE) and to create a plan to ensure that they are meeting regional business and industry workforce demands.

The Academy is open to Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, CTE Directors, Principals, Teachers, Career Coaches, Guidance Counselors, and Administrators. As educators, you will have the opportunity to learn about workforce development challenges and opportunities in Southwest Alabama.

If you are interested in participating in the Educator Workforce Academy, please carefully read through the following information and contact Bridgette Young at byoung@sawdc.org to apply.
