Unemployment Claims Information

To start an individual COVID-19 related unemployment claim – Click Here

If your company wants to file a bulk claim on behalf of your employees – Click Here.  All charges will be waived against those employers who file partial unemployment compensation claims on behalf of their employees. These charges will be waived until further notice. ADOL is encouraging all employers who can file on their employees’ behalf to do so. See the official announcement here.

Small Business Disaster Loans

The Small Business Administration has approved Gov. Kay Ivey’s disaster application for all of Alabama’s counties. Small businesses throughout the state are now eligible to apply for, and receive, economic injury disaster loans of up to $2 million. Alabama Career Centers

All of Alabama’s 51 Career Centers are closed to the public in order to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Alabamians in need of Career Center services will still be able to receive them via telephone calls with their local staff, or through email correspondence. You can also continue to access online resources through Alabama Joblink. We encourage you to visit Alabama Joblink as many Alabama companies are still hiring, and announcing new hiring, even in the midst of the current crisis.
